Silk Matka Fabric is finally back in stock at Nutmeg Hare.  Also known as "raw silk", and similar to linen, this 100% silk fabric 44/45" wide is a wonderful choice for stitchery backgrounds.  Can be used off the bolt as an elegant background, or Machine wash and dry your silk matka prior to using,  and achieve that faded charm with primitive appeal. If washing,  remember to allow for shrinkage when estimating yardage needed.  Either option is a pleaser.   Please Note: Due to weight, additional shipping charge on fabric will be added below.

This natural osnaburg has the look of linen and is a wonderful choice for many Nutmeg Hare stitcheries or wool with stitchery projects. It is versatile and works wonderfully for framed stitcheries, pillows, and quilt blocks as well. Finished designs done on this osnaburg can be tea dyed or left natural. Here it is!! Look no further... The perfect fabric for all your doll making needs!  This is by far the only fabric I will ever use to make raggedy bodies, santa bodies, and any other body, arms, and legs that I might need to make. 100% cotton with a crease resistant finish and no  tea dying necessary as it is already a great shade of tan and very easy to work with.  Once you discover this fabric, you will not care to use any other for those doll treasures.  Please note:  Due to weight, small additional shipping charge on fabric will be added below.
