of aged muslin sure to be a favorite.   This very fine quality 100% cotton fabric is ready to stitch on with its primitive tea stained appeal...I love the color, the streaks, and the wrinkles and definitely choose NOT to place the iron near it!  Enjoy working with this new cloth and create your stitchery with an aged appearance.

Silk Matka Fabric

Silk Matka Fabric is finally back in stock at Nutmeg Hare.  Also known as "raw silk", and similar to linen, this 100% silk fabric 44/45" wide is a wonderful choice for stitchery backgrounds.  Can be used off the bolt as an elegant background, or Machine wash and dry your silk matka prior to using,  and achieve that faded charm with primitive appeal. If washing,  remember to allow for shrinkage when estimating yardage needed.  Either option is a pleaser.   Please Note: Due to weight, additional shipping charge on fabric will be added below.

Natural Osnaburg

This natural osnaburg has the look of linen and is a wonderful choice for many Nutmeg Hare stitcheries or wool with stitchery projects. It is versatile and works wonderfully for framed stitcheries, pillows, and quilt blocks as well. Finished designs done on this osnaburg can be tea dyed or left natural.
